- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Its like A relationship with this place. You love them for helping, but, hate them! Children's Service Center CAN be A Great place to take your children especially if they need the help. My son has been going there for 8 years. HOWEVER, the receptionist ladies where you check in are IGNORANT, COCKY & VERY NASTY. Especially when they are in the wrong. Once you give it back & get past them, EVERYONE behind closed doors is amazing. My son sees Stacey. She is amazing. Always checks his vital signs & weight every appointment. Asks if there are any changes & most importantly, she talks to my son (with me in the room) to see how he feels to get A better understanding of his day & what made him happy or mad that day depending on how he is feeling after school & offers great suggestions! Highly recommend. The other DOWN FALL about this place is what I'm currently going through as we speak...If you miss A appointment or have to Reschedule & your child takes Medication & are transferred to A Nurse, When she tells you She will either call or fax it over, to (check at the end of the business day)...STAY ON HER..KEEP CALLING till the pharmacy says it's in!!!! My son has not had any of his medication since Thursday. Friday morning I made the call. Got told to call at the end of the business day that it will DEFINITELY be there because this isn't the first time nor the second time. I call & nothing was faxed over or called in. When children take medication that long..they have to be weined off. It is so dangerous to be without. What this place lacks to see, is that A parent will do Whatever it takes to protect theirs. I will seek further action to make sure this doesn't happen to any other child or children! Yes, I called & all I got was the crises worker. She tried everything she could on A weekend & for that I'm greatful.September 04, 2017by CoCo CoCo
